You are wondering how we can make the claims we attribute to NuKlear^®, aren't you. Well, the secret is crosslinking.

"What is crosslinking?" you ask.

All polymerization is a process by which longer, stronger molecular chains are created from the smaller pieces present in the raw materials.  Crosslinking is where two long molecular chains actually chemically interlock at points along their length.  The crosslinking gives toughness by the huge increase in molecular weight and the entanglement of the resulting polymer within its self.

Crosslinking is why the best high temperature, high chemical resistant epoxies are used by industry for really tough corrosion problems.   Crosslinking is why CPVC pipe performs better in hot water applications than PVC. Crosslinking is what makes Lexan® acrylic nearly bulletproof.

Generally crosslinking will only occur in acrylics with the addition of strong catalytic chemicals or high temperature. NuKlear^® uses the only ambient temperature, water-soluable, self-crosslinking polymer available on the market today. Take a look at the technical specification sheet. Those are the kinds of numbers only offered by high film building epoxies, urethanes or other thermoset plastics. Now go ask any other waterproofing manufacturer: "What is his tensile or compressive strength?"
